Cub Scouts and Parents,

Tonight Minneapolis Public Schools cancelled all after-school activities starting tomorrow.

Following that, Cub Scout Pack 38 is cancelling our Pinewood Derby this weekend, and all remaining meetings through the end of March.

I’d like to thank Pack 56 for their help in scheduling and offering to host us this year. I’d also like to thank Chris Lewellen who put in all the work coordinating our Packs, Mike Roberts and Duane Tougas for bringing their tools and helping scouts shape their cars, and Paul Virtucio for stepping up in his first year with helping to put the track together and recording the race.

We will look at options to reschedule our race later this year, depending on what Pack 56 decides for their scouts.

We are also cancelling our Pack Meeting for Thursday March 19. Our next scheduled meeting is Thursday April 9. We will keep everyone in the loop as to that and future meetings and events this year.
